PT Sembilan Matahari is a company that embraces creativity. The company, established in 2002, has core competence in audio-video producing and creativity visualization. Based in Bandung, the city known as the center of creative industry in Indonesia, the company has emerged as a well-known production house.

Since our first years, PT Sembilan Matahari already deals with significant clients such as Indonesia Power, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Trans7, Antara (national news agency), Disperindag Jabar, and SET (established by the internationally well-known director Garin Nugroho). We also handled documentation of international events such as Asia International Art Exhibition, and handled the event promo and publication of LA Lights Indie Movie 2007-2008 as well.

PT Sembilan Matahari also participates in making Bandung as one of the most creative city in Asia by declaring Bandung Creative City Forum (BCCF). We help the government of Cimahi to reshape itself to be the next film city for the indie filmmaker as well.

As a division of PT Sembilan Matahari specializing in documentary and movie making, we are only interested in creating movies designed for both enjoyment and education. with under-30's crews and an impressive creative team, we produce high quality movies that meet our idealism as well as the market demand.

The spirit of "independence" influenced not only the development phase of our movies, but also the production phase. Our film tools sub-department offers a new approach upon such challenge. Our creative insights and technical skills overcome the dependency for expensive and limited film tools provider and/or rental by constructing simplified-yet-applicable self-made Dolly track and Porta-jib.
